Decision Needed
Coordinate with the group on whether to rent for the full trip or specific days. The 24-hour rate at $199 is the best value — consider renting for the beach days (May 13–14) and Andy Dunning's birthday celebration (May 17).
Getting Around
RENTAL CAR & TRANSPORTATION
There will be some driving involved — from the airport to the villa, and from the villa to the Summit on May 15–16. We strongly recommend every group rents their own car or books a Turo.
TURO — PEER-TO-PEER RENTAL
Turo lets you rent directly from local car owners — often cheaper than traditional rental companies with more variety. We will be using Turo for our group. Book early for the best selection and rates around Tampa Bay.
TRADITIONAL RENTAL COMPANIES
Standard rental companies are available at Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Pete–Clearwater Airport (PIE). Both airports are about 30–45 minutes from the villa.
Pro Tip
Book your rental car the same day you book your room. Prices go up significantly as the date approaches, especially in peak season.
Note: A rental car is required for Summit days (May 15–16). The Marriott Tampa Water Street is ~30 miles from the villa. Golf carts, bikes, and walking are great for beach days — but you will need a car for the drive to Tampa.
